Assets and brand
Media kit
Every asset, colour and typeface used by The ECHO Framework, with the rule for using each one.
What is in this media kit?
This page lists the visual assets for ECHO and the book, the exact colours and typefaces the site ships, and the official records that identify the entity.
Copy for publication is on the press kit. Canonical strings and the facts still in dispute are on the single source of truth.
Images and artwork
There are no images to release yet. No cover artwork has been produced and no author photograph has been supplied.

When artwork exists it is listed here with its real pixel dimensions and file weight, read off disk at build time. Nothing is described from memory.
Brand colours
These hex values are parsed out of the shipped stylesheet when the site is built, so the palette below is the palette in use rather than a record of one.
- Ink, body text#0a0b0d --c-ink
- Ink soft, secondary body#363c45 --c-ink-soft
- Muted, captions and labels#5b6472 --c-muted
- Canvas, page background#ffffff --c-canvas
- Paper, tinted panels#f6f7f9 --c-paper
- Hairline borders#e4e7ec --c-line
- Accent, links and primary action#3b2bf5 --c-accent
- Accent deep, hover#2a1cc4 --c-accent-deep
- Accent wash, chips#eeecfe --c-accent-wash
The site also ships a dark palette that swaps these roles at the reader's system setting. The values above are the light set, which is the one to reproduce in print.
Typography
Two typefaces, both open licensed and free for commercial use.
- Text and headingsInter Tight, weights 400 to 700
- SIL Open Font License
- Used for every heading, all body copy and all interface text
- Record and referenceJetBrains Mono, weights 400 and 500
- SIL Open Font License
- Used for labels, canonical strings and anything a machine is meant to read as a value
The monospace face is doing semantic work rather than decorative work: it marks the difference between prose about a fact and the fact itself, which is the distinction chapter 3 draws between a page a machine can read and a page a machine can use.
The wordmark and how to write the name
The wordmark is the site name set in Inter Tight beside a single ring mark. The name itself has one correct rendering and several wrong ones.
- Site nameThe ECHO Framework
- Framework nameECHO, capitals always
- NeverEcho, E.C.H.O., eCHO
- Ring markA single ring with a filled centre, in the accent colour. It is an echo, drawn once.
ECHO is an initialism of Entity, Corroboration, Hooks, Output. Setting it in lower case reads as the ordinary English word, which is precisely the disambiguation failure the framework exists to fix. Every rendering rule.
Official records
These are the records that identify the author entity across the web. They are the corroboration set, and no other record is claimed.

The book itself is not yet in any retail or bibliographic record. Those are added to the single source of truth as they appear, one URL per distinct record.
